Light weight solid roof used as a replacement to an existing roof or as part of a new build structure. The system comprises an insulated structural ring beam, supporting structurally insulated panels. A light weight internal aluminium framing system to aid construction and provide connectivity between panels. T&G OSB3 board spaced from the SIP by a batten covers the roof, followed by a breathable membrane and a lightweight composite tile is the external finish. There is an option to specify integrated glazing in the form glazing bars and bespoke flashing details
