EWS534 PLUMIS AUTOMIST SMARTSCAN

Automist Smartscan, pre-engineered, automatic, watermist fire suppression system manufactured by Plumis. Intended Use: 
To be used in any application where a BS 8458:2015 compliant watermist system is deemed to be acceptable as a code-compliant automatic water fire suppression system, for example in accordance with the recommendations of BS 9991:2015. The system must be specified to provide coverage to all areas where a BS 8458 compliant watermist system or BS 9251 compliant sprinkler system are required to provide suppression coverage. 
As a pre-engineered watermist system, Automist Smartscan cannot comply fully with BS 8458. It has been demonstrated through testing undertaken by an independent, nationally accredited fire laboratory that Automist Smartscan meets the fire performance criteria specified in Annex C of BS 8458. 
The system must be installed in accordance with the most recent issue of Automist Smartscan® Handbook, (currently at version 1.0.5) and the system must only be installed by an Automist Accredited Installer. 
BS 5446-2 or BS EN 54-5 compliant heat detectors are required to actuate Automist.
