STAS/20/086/DM102 Discovery Homes 2020 Changes

Further to our recent discussions and email below please find attached a copy of the STAS Variations Application form along with the updated Statement of Structural Adequacy and Climatic Conditions Design for the following house types.House Type A Option 3 – Variation to existing STAS Approval and uplift to 2019 Standards
House Type A Option 4 – Variation to existing STAS Approval and uplift to 2019 Standards
House Type B Option 3 – Variation to existing STAS Approval and uplift to 2019 Standards
House Type B Option 4 – New STAS Approval required (2019 Standards)
The variations to the current STAS Approval are as follows.
145x45mm timber kit changed for 95x45mm timber kit.
Actis insulation between the 145mm kit changed for 140mm Pavatex external insulation.
Actis insulation, timber joists and timber strapping in the first floor ceiling construction changed for 230mm Knauf Rafter roll insulation between 230x50mm timber joists.
House Type A house length increase by approx. 500mm.
Ground floor build removed from STAS approval as this will be site specific.
